หลักฐานธรรมกายในคัมภีร์พุทธโบราณ (ตอนที่ ๑๒)
ผู้เขียนและคณะได้เรียบเรียงบทความที่สรุปโดยย่อ “เส้นทางการเผยแผ่พระพุทธศาสนา” ตั้งแต่ยุคเริ่มต้นจนถึงฉบับนี้ ยุคพุทธศตวรรษที่ ๑๙ นับเป็นเวลา ๑ ปีพอดีที่ได้นำเสนอสู่สายตาของเหล่าสมาชิกผู้ใจบุญทุกท่าน และเชื่อว่าคงเกิดภาพและความเข้าใจมากขึ้น ซึ่งผู้เขียนและคณะต่างปลื้มปีติที่ได้ประมวลเรื่องราวดี ๆ นี้ แล้วนำเสนอแด่ทุกท่านเป็นธรรมทาน

เดือนตุลาคมที่ผ่านมานี้ ผู้เขียนได้รับเชิญจากเจ้าภาพ คือ ประธานพุทธสมาคมจีนให้เข้าร่วมประชุม World Buddhist Forum ครั้งที่ ๔ ที่เมือง Wu Xi ซึ่งมีผู้แทนองค์กรชาวพุทธถึง ๕๒ ประเทศเข้าร่วมประชุมในครั้งนี้นับว่าเป็นนิมิตหมายที่ดีที่พุทธบริษัทจะมารวมเป็นหนึ่งเดียว ในช่วงนี้จึงเป็นโอกาสดีที่ผู้เขียนจะเดินทางไปเมืองซีอานอีกครั้งหนึ่ง

ณ ริมฝั่งแม่น้ำภีมะ ห่างจากหมู่บ้าน Sannati ไปทางทิศตะวันออกประมาณ ๓ กิโลเมตร ในเขตรัฐกรณาฏกะ ทางตอนใต้ของประเทศอินเดีย องค์การสำรวจโบราณคดีอินเดีย หรือ ASI (Archaeological Survey of India) ได้ขุดค้นพบแหล่งโบราณคดีกนคนหลฺลิ (Kanaganahalli) ที่เชื่อว่าเป็นศูนย์กลางพระพุทธศาสนาสมัยราชวงศ์ศาตวาหนะ....

หลังจากการล่มสลายของราชวงศ์สตวาหนะแล้ว ราชวงศ์อานธรอิกศวากุ ได้ปกครองดินแดนแถบนี้ระหว่างปลายพุทธศตวรรษที่ ๘ ถึงพุทธศตวรรษที่ ๙ โดยตั้งเมืองหลวงที่เมืองวิชัยปุระหรือนาคารชุนโกณฑะ สมาชิกฝ่ายสตรีในราชวงศ์นี้เป็นพุทธมามกะได้สร้างวิหารเทวีและวิหารสิงหล ให้เป็นอาสนสถานของพระสงฆ์จากลังกา และสร้างชัยตยฆระ ถวายแด่ฝ่ายพระเถรีจากลังกาความสัมพันธ์ทางพระพุทธศาสนาของลังกาและอินเดียแถบอานธรประเทศในยุคนี้มีความใกล้ชิดกันเป็นอย่างมาก

This meditation retreat was participated by 27 people from 21 countries, e.g. Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Morocco, Egypt, Jordan, Cameroon, Uganda, Tanzania, Brazil, Bolivia, Colombia, Mexico, Italy, Spain, Germany, Hungary, Slovania, Lithuania, Belarus and the United States.

PATHUM THANI 22 APRIL 2015 - More than 200,000 monks and novices from every region of Thailand as well as and monk visitors from 12 countries and lay Buddhists from Thailand and overseas travelled to the Dhammakaya Temple in Pathum Thani province for a historic gathering to create “global-cooling effects” with prayer, meditation, and giving on the Earth Day 22 April 2015.

Earth Day in its modern form was initiated by the Honorable Gaylord Nelson, a United States senator from Wisconsin, who strived to raise awareness and gather political support for the environmental issues of the day.
